JOHNSON FIREARMS Expert Export Services are in high demand because we explain step-by-step with our customers and walk them through exactly what is required to apply and successfully obtain an APPROVED Export Permit.
Below we will use the term Firearm, but there are many items that must be registered with the US State Dept in order to Export from US Soil - Guns, Ammunition, silencers, military-spec accessories, etc. Our staff will go over your export needs and orders to explain to you exactly what requires an Export Permit and what doesn’t. We cannot guarantee approval for every item you want. There are some Firearms and Articles of Defense that cannot be exported and some Firearms and Articles of Defense that other countries will not allow to be imported.

Besides the Import Permit that you must obtain from your Foreign Government, we will provide you every document, that you only need to sign, scan and email back to us.

Below is the required list of Documents:
Purchase Order - This document must be from the foreign end user, requesting these items be shipped to them. We need to have this in English, either typed or handwritten (if legible). It will then need to be signed by you and either Scanned and Emailed, Mailed, or Faxed in.
DSP-83 Form – We will fill this out for you and email it to you to sign, Scan and Email back to us.
Import Authorization (Permit) - This document is either an original permit or certificate issued by the foreign government, authorizing the import of the items specified in the purchase order. It usually contains an official signature, government seal and validity period or expiration date. Typically a firearms dealers, business license or authorization to own or carry a firearm is insufficient. Check with your local laws to determine what your government requires.
Our submittal is electronic, so at first you can Color Scan the Permit as a PDF or JPEG and email it to us so we can get the process started and submit the Application. We will eventually need the original mailed to us for our records. It is required by the US State Dept.
REMEMBER – This needs to be Translated in English. It will be rejected because of a lack of English. Our staff will review your Import Permit to determine if it is acceptable before submittal.
